Config-Attribute Pricing

When a rep fills in configuration attributes on a product, those choices can adjust the line’s unit price. How an attribute contributes depends on its type (all authored in Product Manager → Configuration Attributes):

  • Picklist / Multi-Select — each value can carry a price override (sets the price outright) or a price delta (adjusts by an amount or a percent).
  • Number — priced with bands: the entered number falls in a band whose per-unit rate contributes value × rate, with an optional override / delta on top.
  • Checkbox — prices both sides: an effect for checked (true) and one for unchecked (false).

The contributions blend into the unit price (they are not separate line items) and show as their own Configuration Attributes step in the Price Waterfall — e.g. List $100 → Configuration Attributes (+$45 blended) → unit $145 — so a rep sees exactly what each choice added. Everything downstream (discounts, quantity, term) then applies to the attribute-adjusted price.

See the user guide’s Configuration Attributes and Config-Attribute Pricing for the authoring walkthrough.
